10th Annual Golf Tournament
Join us for a relaxed 18 holes of golf. Compete with 30 teams that will consist of: 1 of the 30 local artists’ that all have donated their time, who have been paired up with a 3 person team. Your participation will help to change one local musician’s life forever.

Cool off with beer, liquor, burgers, and live music featuring an all-star line-up of Texas country music’s best. Come early for upcoming artists and sticks around to see the year’s featured artist close the show.

Our mission is to support the music and people that define the spirit of Texas.

In a changing music industry, the cards are stacked against local Texas artists who create real good music and do it for a living. They face steep costs that prevents some of the best play from bringing their music to life, recording an album, and building a career.
The Heart Journey Local Music Foundation believes in the power of local music to inspire, to heal and preserve our unique culture here in Texas. We can’t lose Texas country music.
We are a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donations go to artists, never to administrative costs or salaries.
The H.J. Local Music Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization created to help and support local music artists to further their careers and to support various local nonprofit organizations. The foundation raises funds through sponsors, donations, and special events. The foundation’s board holds a special meeting to nominate and then select one artist each year who will be the recipient of the H.J.L.M.F. scholarship.
What is the HJLMF Financial Scholarship?
Every year, we award a financial scholarship to one Texas artist or group. The scholarship covers expenses from recording to promotion: everything our local musicians need to kick-start their careers.
Heart Journey Local Music Foundation is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donations go to artists, never to administrative costs or salaries.
The scholarship recipient is based on a multitude of different factors. The artist selected will have the funds available via the scholarship to help them advance in their career. Every year, the board of Heart Journey Local Music Foundation selects an outstanding and underrecognized local country music artist or group to receive the generous scholarship.
This scholarship covers the cost of studio time, mastering, distribution, merchandise, and equipment.
More than fifty artists get support each year.
Together with the Heart Journey Local Music Foundation, your donations allow artists to focus on what’s important: making great music and enriching local culture.
